Privacy 💗

Location

If you choose “Use my location,” your browser asks you for permission. GoodDayTo uses the coordinates to request weather for that area. You can instead search for a town or city.

Local storage

The current version may remember your chosen location in your browser so the next visit is quicker. This can be cleared through your browser storage controls.

Weather services

Forecast and place-search requests are sent to the weather/geocoding service used by the app. Their own privacy terms apply to those requests.

Analytics

GoodDayTo uses Google Analytics and Metricool only after you choose “Allow analytics” in our privacy choices. If you choose “Only essential,” those analytics scripts are not loaded. You can reopen Privacy choices from the footer and change your preference.

Essential browser storage

GoodDayTo may store your selected location, units, favourite activities and privacy choice in your browser so the service works as expected without requiring an account.

Contact form enquiries

If you use the Contact page, GoodDayTo processes the name, reply email address, enquiry topic and message that you choose to provide. Those details are sent into our private Site Command support inbox so the enquiry can be reviewed and answered. Contact details submitted through the form are not published on GoodDayTo.app and no public contact email address is displayed.

Advertising

GoodDayTo does not currently load advertising technology. If advertising is introduced, this policy and the consent system will be updated before ad technology is enabled.
