Why dry conditions dominate the score
Even light precipitation can make smooth concrete, painted ramps and metal features slippery. The model therefore treats rain more strictly than it does for walking. A dry forecast after earlier rain may still need a real-world surface check before you start, because the app cannot measure how quickly a specific park dries.
Wind, temperature and useful light
Strong wind can affect balance, speed and exposed ramps. Very hot or cold apparent temperatures also reduce comfort for longer sessions. GoodDayTo prefers daylight by default and does not assume a skatepark has floodlights, so a technically dry late-night hour will not automatically become the best recommendation.
